Lisbon is the largest and the capital city of Portugal with a population of almost 5,64,477. Lisbon is the center for economic hierarchy, standard of living and business market of the whole Portugal. In controlling governance and politics of the country Lisbon plays the most important role too. There are certain agencies in Lisbon, which play leading roles in their respective fields,such as : European Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA)and the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP).
